This is the qualifier for the US Sailing Adult Championships being hosted by the Wayzata Yacht Club in J/22's in September. The winner of this qualifier will be the TCRSA's nominee for the Championship.

The qualifier will be sailed June 23-24 at Wayzata Yacht Club in class legal J/22's (teams bring their own class certified boats and sails).

In order to participate, each sailor must be a regular member of a yacht club that is a member of the TCRSA (i.e., Wayzata YC, Black Bear YRA (White Bear Lake), Lake City YC, Upper Minnetonka YC, Shorewood YC, Shores of Leach Lake YA, St. Croix SC).

The minimum number of crew for the event is three and should be the crew to be used for the US Sailing Adult Championships, if your team is selected.  Changes to crew after winning the qualifier are subject to approval by the TCRSA and may result in selection of another team.

There will be no entry fee for the Qualifier, but the skipper vying for the nomination will need to be a TCRSA member and the crew will need to be either members or eligible to become members (a regular member of a TCRSA member club or association).  Teams also should review the rules to make sure they meet the requirements for the US Sailing Adult Championship, as they will ultimately need to meet those as well.  The NOR and Sis are published and available under the Adult Champs Qualifier tab.
